The MK Garrison (MKG) was formed in
May 2007 as a Star
Wars Costuming Group primarily based in the Buckinghamshire, and
Bedfordshire area. Since its formation the Garrison has grown to over 70
Active members and has now spread with members located across the length
and breadth of the country.
Our aim is to maintain a professional approach to
costuming whilst at the same time operating as a family friendly
costuming group. We have continued to be successful in raising monies
for our chosen charity Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity.
At the same time we have also continued to support a number of both
local and national charities. Our motto is based upon raising monies for
worth CHARITY, STRENGTH within our
members and HONOUR with our relationships.
We have successfully attended a number of high
profile corporate functions along with supporting such conventions as
Collectormania Milton Keynes, London, Midlands, London Film & Comic Con.
You may also see us attending local school fetes, carnivals etc.
All members pride themselves upon their accuracy of
their costumes.
